Lift-All Bucket Trucks - Used Bucket Trucks For Sale

In late December of 2008, Altec Industries Inc. acquired Lift-All. This acquisition added Lift-All's line of bucket trucks to Altec's already extensive list of product offerings.

Lift-All is a U.S. based manufacturer of bucket trucks with more than 120 different models produced. They have manufacturing locations in Landisville, PA; Chicago, IL; Houston, TX; Las Vegas, NV; Atlanta, GA; They offer safety seminars to employees of clients to help them gain knowledge about safety in using Lift-All bucket trucks, along with offering other training and seminars to their customers in an effort to maintain safe practices in the indsutry. Altec purchased the rights to produce these bucket trucks under the Altec brand when they acquired Lift-All in 2009. As of 2010, the Lift-All factory remains open in Fort Wayne, IN, and continues to produce these re-branded bucket trucks.

How Has the Acquisition Affected Lift-All Parts Availability

If anything, it would appear that the acquisition of Lift-All by bucket truck manufacturing giant, Altec Industries, has improved the availability of parts and service for Lift-All bucket trucks.

Altec Industries has 16 service centers located throughout the United States and Canada, and many technicians outside of Altec's umbrella are also capable of servicing their products. Despite the economic crash of 2008 and a handful of layoffs due to slumping sales figures, Altec Industries appears to be fairing reasonably well (and even expanding, as demonstrated with this acquisition) under the guidance of current President and CEO Lee Styslinger III. It's expected that re-branded Lift-All product lines will also enjoy the benefits of Altec's superior management.

The availability of Lift-All parts is visibly increasing, as well. In early 2010, PCC announced the addition of more than 300 new Lift-All parts and accessories to their inventory. More manufacturers of bucket trucks will certainly follow in the footsteps of this industry leading manufacturer of replacement parts and accessories for used bucket trucks. Additions like this bode well for the recently re-branded Lift-All bucket truck line.
