DOT Bucket Truck Inspections and Inspection Standards

Southwest Equipment's bucket trucks go through a rigorous inspection before we sell them. We aim to provide like new quality to our customers and by checking every detail, we provide that. We are licensed to DOT inspect bucket trucks in Texas and we recondition our bucket trucks for sale to the same standards. It doesn't make sense to buy an "iffy" bucket truck, make sure to buy a quality used bucket truck that passes inspection from Southwest Equipment.

You can find inspection criteria from the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Our Pre-Delivery Check List:

    - Brake System - We inspect the breaks thoroughly to ensure there are no leaks, low fluid, have proper stopping power, and everything is working as it should. Bucket trucks are hard on their brake system so it is vital to include brakes in an inspection.

    - Engine - Engine are of course, one of the most important components to a bucket truck. We thoroughly inspect the engine to make sure everything is working smoothly and up to third party inspection standards.
